Hedge Trimming

Leylandii hedges (Leyland Cypress) should be trimmed twice a year to avoid having to remove the hedge once it becomes too wide.

Cypress hedges can not be significantly reduced in width (more than 3-6 inches). Internal leaves will have died off due to lack of sunlight. Cypress will not regrow if the outer layer of living leaves are removed.

All species of hedges may be reduced in height by any amount at any time of year.
