Hedge-trimming can be a dangerous activity, with a risk of fall or even the loss of a finger! Our team is fully equipped with the longest-reach hedge cutters on the market making us faster, safer and more economical.
If you have a Leylandii hedge (Leyland Cypress) it should be trimmed twice a year to avoid having to remove the hedge once it becomes too wide. Cypress can not be significantly reduced in width (more than 3-6 inches), due to the fact that internal leaves will have died off due to lack of sunlight. Cypress will not regrow if the outer layer of living leaves are removed.
All species of hedges may be reduced in height by any amount at any time of year.
